Building A Long-Term Cultural Destination
Village Gallery is currently undergoing transformation inside Hotel Village Worpswede as we develop a unique integrated environment combining exhibition space, collecting, hospitality, scholarship, and premium visitor experience.
Unlike traditional galleries, our vision is to create a destination where culture and hospitality naturally coexist.
The gallery space has been designed to support a broad and evolving exhibition programme while creating opportunities for private collectors, corporate partners, and cultural audiences to engage with art in a meaningful and immersive environment.
Development Phase
We are currently in active transformation as we prepare for the first public launch of Village Gallery in Summer 2026.
Founding partners joining during this period become part of the earliest development phase of what we intend to build as a lasting cultural institution.

Tourism in Worpswede peaks in spring and summer for galleries, exhibitions, and outdoor landscapes, with quieter but steady cultural visits continuing through autumn and winter

A Versatile Well Appointed 3 Floor Multi-Space
Positioned directly within Hotel Village, the gallery benefits from an existing hospitality environment where visitors naturally move between art, dining, conversation and cultural experience.
Art and Good Company
Village Gallery is well served by the adjoining Hotel Village, together with its indoor and outdoor café spaces, creating a welcoming destination where art and hospitality come together.
Visitors can enjoy a menu of fresh, seasonal dishes, light lunches, homemade cakes, and regional specialities, complemented by a curated selection of local and international wines, German beers, craft beverages, and speciality coffees. Together, the gallery, hotel, and café encourage longer visitor dwell times and a richer cultural experience in the heart of Worpswede.
